FAQ

The questions merchants ask before and after installing Aidvio.

Will Aidvio change my products without asking?

No. Aidvio generates suggestions; you apply them. Nothing is written to your store until you press apply, and every applied change can be undone. See review and apply.

Does Aidvio touch my prices, images or inventory?

No. Aidvio writes text: titles, descriptions, tags, SEO meta, variant names, category, and image alt text. It never modifies an image file, a price, or a stock level.

Is my product data sent to an AI model?

Yes — that is how the enhancements are generated. Product content you ask Aidvio to enhance is sent to a third-party AI provider, along with your brand-profile context. Our current providers are NVIDIA, OpenAI and Groq, and we use API tiers whose terms exclude your data from model training.

Your Shopify access token, store credentials and billing data are never sent to an AI provider. This is set out in full in data processing and subprocessors.

Does Aidvio store my customers' data?

No. Aidvio works only with your product catalog and your storefront's public pages. It does not collect, store or process customer names, emails, addresses, orders, or payment details — it never asks Shopify for them.

Will the rewrites sound like every other AI store?

Only if you skip the brand profile. The profile is what makes the output sound like you rather than like a language model. It is worth the ten minutes.

How long does a first scan take?

A catalog of 1,000 products typically takes a few minutes. The scan runs in the background — you can close the page.

Can I undo a bulk apply?

Yes, as a single operation. Aidvio stores the previous value of every field it writes. See bulk actions.

What happens to my changes if I uninstall?

Applied changes stay. They are your product data, already written to your store. If you want them reverted, undo them before uninstalling. See billing.

Does a higher score guarantee more sales?

No. A higher score means a machine can understand your listing. That is a precondition for being found in agentic search, not a promise of traffic. Catalog Rank is the closer measure, and even that is a position, not a sale.
