Troubleshooting

When something has gone wrong, start here.

I applied something by mistake

Undo it. Every applied change stores the previous value of the field, and undo restores that exact value — not an AI reconstruction of it.

  • One product: open the product and undo from its history.
  • A bulk apply: open the bulk history and undo the operation. It reverts as a single action.

Do this before you make further edits to the affected products, so the undo does not overwrite something you actually wanted.

The rewrites do not sound like my brand

This is almost always a brand profile problem, not a model problem. Check three things:

  1. Is the voice described specifically, including what to avoid?
  2. Is the audience named?
  3. Are your never use words listed? Superlatives leak in when this is empty.

Edit the profile, then regenerate. Existing applied changes are not affected.

My scan is stuck or incomplete

Scans are rate-limited by Shopify's API, and a large catalog takes time. If a scan has made no progress for more than 30 minutes, reload the app. If it is still stuck, contact support with your store domain and the approximate catalog size.

A product still scores low after a rewrite

Open its field breakdown. The commonest causes are fields Aidvio is not allowed to touch — most often category and variants, which merchants frequently leave disabled. A perfect title cannot compensate for variants called "Option 1" and "Option 2".

Aidvio cannot see some of my products

Check that they are not drafts or archived, and that they are published to a sales channel Aidvio can read. Aidvio only sees products it has been granted access to.

Catalog Rank has not moved

Rank is relative and it lags. A rewrite applied today will not move rank today. If rank has not moved after several weeks and the readiness score is high, the problem is likely category placement rather than prose — see the seven fields.

Still stuck

Contact support. Include your store domain, the product ID if it is product-specific, and what you expected to happen.
